Ett så enkelt faktum som det på översta raden får svenska journalister tydligen bara skriva väldigt tyst om för sina ägare, däremot får de gärna låta "The Decider" och Condoleanza Reich pladdra oemotsagda om "nationers suveränitet" å det grötmyndigaste utan att murvlarna knystar ett ord om Afghanistan, Irak, Somalia, Chile, Kuba, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Panama eller lilla Grenada, för att bara nämna några i raden av "mäktiga fiender" och "terroristhot mot världsfreden" som "världens enda supermakt" så dristigt har skyddat oss från sen "andra världskriget tog slut", om det nu verkligen gjorde det. Fred i världen blev det i alla fall inte, men kriget som ren affärsidé har onekligen utvecklats en del, till alla vapenhandlares och katastrofkapitalisters stora fröjd.
Att påpeka att Bushco – eller israelerna – kastar sten i glashus bara de tar orden "demokrati" och "respektera andra nationers suveränitet" i sin mun, det är fullständigt TABU i svenska massmedia, trots att det är ett uppenbart faktum som alla insatta hycklare i media känner till; och varför får inte Israels och USAs "Machtpolitik" överhuvudtaget diskuteras? Är det därför att den är lika oantastlig som Hitlers var ända tills det började gå illa för honom?
Och i så fall, är det inte bäst att ni börjar vända på kapporna nu, så ni inte hux flux står där och pissar i motvind?
Var det Djävulen själv som med John Waynes och alla andra Hollywoodhjältars hjälp lyckades förvända synen på halva världen till att alltid se USA (och sidekicken Israel) som "the good guys"? Vad fan de än hittar på?
Finns det några "good guys" som är så illa sedda – nej, hjärtligt hatade – att de måste spendera mera pengar på vapen, f'låt, "försvar", än hela den övriga världen tillsammans? Är inte detta tvärtom ett symptom på grava psykopatologiska problem ...? Och bör inte psykopater för allmänhetens säkerhet beredas förvaring och i möjligaste mån vård? Förvaring nånstans där de inte längre kan manipulera och terrorisera sin omgivning ... vilket man knappast kan förneka att både USA och Israel lägger en stor del av sin energi på.
Nu hör jag i andanom DN, Expressen & Co skräna om antisemitism, vilket det inte är, däremot är det antisionistiskt och alltså antirasistiskt, eftersom sionismen är en lika rasistisk ideologi som någonsin nazismen ...

Wild Georgian conspiracy theory
Israel had a lot to do with the stupid actions of the government in Georgia (and is boasting about it!). The other big player in convincing the Georgians to walk into a door were the American 'dual-loyalist' Israeli-controlled neocons (it reminds me of George Bush - the father - telling the Kurds that if they rebelled against Saddam after the first Gulf War he would protect them, with the bonus that the subsequent massacre of the Kurds by Saddam, the one which the Americans let happen without doing anything to help the Kurds, was one of the reasons given by the son for his attack on Iraq!). What was the point of handing the Russians a perfect excuse to do what they have wanted to do for years?
I'm in a Pollard frame of mind. Remember Pollard stole American spy secrets to give to Israel so Israel could barter the lives of American spies for Jews released from the Soviet Union (the Soviets kept the decent Jews and sent all the gangsters to Israel, which explains a lot). Israel doesn't want Russia to sell defensive military equipment to countries in the Middle East. Could the Israelis and their treasonous agents in the United States have done a deal with the Russians to set Georgia up to give the Russians a perfect excuse to attack Georgia in return for Russia cutting back on its sales of defensive arms to the Middle East?

You can never be too cynical
Commentators are pointing out that my Georgian conspiracy theory is the exact opposite of established wisdom, but I'm not backing off. If you assume, as you must, that the traitorous 'American' neocons work in lock-step with their Israeli bosses, and that the 'Americans' knew that the U. S. really had no interest in backing up Georgia with World War III (part of the new order, with the Old American Establishment putting the adults back in charge of American military and diplomatic planning), there is no way to explain the Americans hanging the Georgians out to dry other than the fact it was a set up for the benefit of Putin. There is no obvious American motive for this. There is also no obvious Israeli motive, unless you consider that the Israelis would rather curry favor with the Russians than keep a tiny Georgian ally. It appears that the Israelis have already picked sides, cutting off their weapons supply attachments to the Georgians. Now it remains to be seen if the Russians repay their new pals by cutting back on the defensive weapons supplies to the Middle East, supplies that are deeply anti-Semitic as they might prevent the G-d-given right of the Jews to kill other peoples in the area.
Note this article, which takes the mainstream view while proving the opposite:

There were reports in Israel that the sale of the tanks didn't go through because of a disagreement over the commission that was to be paid as part of the deal. But Amos Yaron, the former director general of the Defense Ministry, insisted it had to do with 'security-diplomatic considerations' - a clear reference to the sensitivity of the arms sales to Georgia. Israel, Yaron added, didn't want 'to harm Russian interests too much'.
Asked about the motivation to initially engage in the sale of weaponry to Georgia despite concerns it might anger Russia, Yaron replied: 'We did see that there was potential for a conflagration in the region but Georgia is a friendly state, it's supported by the US, and so it was difficult to refuse.'"
In other words, the Israelis had already been playing a high-level diplomaitc game with the Russians (you might want to consider that the alleged 'special relationship' with the Georgians was part of a long-term scheme to apply leverage to the Russians). I think the mainstream commentators are guilty, as usual, of failing to be cynical enough. Israel has no real friends (e. g., USS Liberty), just a series of relationships involving mutual exploitation. Faced with a choice of gaining big leverage with the Russians or keeping a tiny ally, Israel did what was 'good for the Jews'. All the talk about the special relationship between Georgia and Israel due to Jewish connections was just poppycock.

Confirmation of the wild Georgian conspiracy theory, from none less that the Georgian reintegration minister, Temur Yakobashvili, a "former Zionist leader who speaks fluent Hebrew" (my emphasis in red):

We all know that private contractors and others have been siphoning off billions of dollars in Iraq, but nobody has really tried to put a number on the total. Now the BBC thinks they have the number: $23 billion. With a B. BBC:
A BBC investigation estimates that around $23bn (£11.75bn) may have been lost, stolen or just not properly accounted for in Iraq.
For the first time, the extent to which some private contractors have profited from the conflict and rebuilding has been researched by the BBC's Panorama using US and Iraqi government sources.
A US gagging order is preventing discussion of the allegations.
The order applies to 70 court cases against some of the top US companies.
While George Bush remains in the White House, it is unlikely the gagging orders will be lifted.
To date, no major US contractor faces trial for fraud or mismanagement in Iraq.
The president's Democrat opponents are keeping up the pressure over war profiteering in Iraq.
Henry Waxman who chairs the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform said: "The money that's gone into waste, fraud and abuse under these contracts is just so outrageous, its egregious.
"It may well turn out to be the largest war profiteering in history."
In the run-up to the invasion one of the most senior officials in charge of procurement in the Pentagon objected to a contract potentially worth seven billion that was given to Halliburton, a Texan company, which used to be run by Dick Cheney before he became vice-president.
Unusually only Halliburton got to bid - and won.
If nobody goes to jail over this, we will well and truly know that we are living in a terminally corrupt, dying empire. A kleptocracy. When war is this profitable, and nobody is held accountable, war will never stop.

Sex och ett halvt år sedan Lögnens triumf
Jaha, nu har det gått sex och ett halvt år sen terrorattackerna den 11 september 2001.
Trots att varje tänkande människas första reaktion förmodligen var densamma som min:
"Å nej, nu har Bush och fascisterna inom the United Corporations of America fått/gett sig själva den finaste present de kunde önska sig, carte blanche för "krig mot terrorn" och införandet av polisstaten i namn av att "rädda demokratin";
trots det rent fysiskt orimliga i att 3 skyskrapor med stålskelett i samma kvarter på södra Manhattan under samma dag blir de allra första i hela världen att jämnas med marken "av bränder" som "rasat" under som mest lite drygt en timme(räcker inte ens för att få stålet att mjukna);
trots de hundratals vittnesmålen om kraftiga explosioner inne i WTC1 och 2 både före och efter det att de träffats av flygplanen;
trots att byggnaderna störtar samman exakt så som byggnader faller vid s.k. "controlled demolition";
trots att då nyblivne ägaren av WTC, Larry Silverstein, själv sa om WTC7 att "We had to 'pull' that building";
trots att detta kräver en strategisk utplacering av sprängladdningar i byggnaden, vilket kan ta veckor, minst, att bestyra;
trots att Silverstein bara ett par månader före händelserna tecknade en enorm försäkring just mot "terrorattacker" som han nu har kammat in 4,7 miljarder dollar på (han hoppas på mycket mer);
trots att den officiella förklaringen inte ens grundats på någon som helst brottsutredning och de utredare som vågat ställa den självklara första frågan i varje brottsfall,"Cui bono? Vem tjänar på det?", raskt omplacerades eller hotades till livet;
trots att historien visar att den som vill starta ett anfallskrig som han vet inte är populärt som regel inleder med en "false flag operation" som sedan skylls på "fienden";
trots allt detta och mycket, mycket mer, VAR det "islamistiska terrorister" som utan resehandlingar men beväpnade med mattknivar lätt och behändigt och utan att nån märkte nåt gick ombord på fyra flygplan, övermannade besättningarna och trots skral eller nästintill obefintlig pilotkompetens utförde konstflygningstrick som de skickligaste testpiloter skulle ha svårt att upprepa.
I fallet "planet som träffade Pentagon" lyckades man t.o.m. slå ett hål i väggen som var betydligt mindre än flygplanskroppens diameter och sedan fullkomligt trolla bort hela vraket, vingarna, passagerarna och deras bagage, utom deras pass! Och allt detta har våra officiella opinionsbildare, "journalisterna", bara tuggat i sig som dagsens sanning och sedan rapat upp och gång på gång spytt ut över oss tills alla dessa vettlösa befängdheter gått i de flesta människor som om det vore fakta!

This is where the manipulators use our own emotions as strings to control us. The distortions and directions we are being moved to are taking place in the subconscious, often undetected.
Propaganda techniques were first codified and applied in a scientific manner by journalist Walter Lippman and psychologist Edward Bernays (nephew of Sigmund Freud) early in the 20th century. During World War I, Lippman and Bernays were hired by then United States President, Woodrow Wilson, to participate in the Creel Commission, the mission of which was to sway popular opinion in favor of entering the war, on the side of Britain. Edward Bernays said in his 1928 book Propaganda,
"The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society. Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country."
The Creel Commission provided themes for speeches by "four-minute men" at public functions, and also encouraged censorship of the American press. The Commission was so unpopular that after the war, Congress closed it down without providing funding to organize and archive its papers. The war propaganda campaign of Lippman and Bernays produced within six months such an intense anti-German hysteria as to permanently impress American business (and Adolf Hitler, among others) with the potential of large-scale propaganda to control public opinion. Bernays coined the terms "group mind" and "engineering consent", important concepts in practical propaganda work. The current public relations industry is a direct outgrowth of Lippman's and Bernays' work and is still used extensively by the United States government. For the first half of the 20th century Bernays and Lippman ran a very successful public relations firm. World War II saw continued use of propaganda as a weapon of war, both by Hitler's propagandist Joseph Gobbles and the British Political Warfare Executive, as well as the United States Office of War Information.
Turn on your local newscast. You have a few minutes of blue-collar crime, hardly any white collar crime, a few minutes of sports, misc. chit chat, random political jibber-jabber, and a look at the weather that no one is forecasting correctly. Is that what happened in your town? And we're supposed to own the airwaves! The mainstream media openly supports the interests of the prison industrial complex. The stories focus on minority criminal groups, and exploit the real threats to appear much more dangerous than they are. Think about the growing per capita number of prisoners in the country. Then remember that this is happening at the same time that our prison boom began. The police on our streets have created criminals. The focus is to keep us in a state of fear, that way the elitists can attack any group they want to without fear of consequences. This is why the media is continuing to craft the timeless art of dehumanization.
The techniques are increasing in their sophistication over time as the mind scientists that serve the empire continue to discover scientific breakthroughs as to how the human brain functions, learns, retains information, and behaves. The most effective brainwashing techniques are used on the most successful propaganda networks. Examine the music bed that lies low during the fright night scope of the second. It's spooky. I wonder if we are supposed to be thinking with our minds or getting ready for stunt. Observe the graphics with the music. They're glitzy and flashing. Like the monkey that is attracted to shiny objects, it's our monkey hand that controls the remote that often stops the search for entertainment when the proper amount of glamor catches our attention. Most importantly, notice the repetition behind the lies that the politicians and their corporate media groupies tell us. You see, the unimaginable fallacies are created as 'truth' not because it's logical or provable, but because of the broken record technique. No matter how ridiculous the lie, it's repeated often enough that the brain doesn't know the difference between reality and nursery rhymes. This technique is underestimated in its ability to allow the puppeteers to hypnotize millions of people. Instead of "Fair and balanced" it's "We say it enough times, and you believe it."

World War II saw continued use of propaganda as a weapon of war, both by Hitler's propagandist Joseph Gobbles and the British Political Warfare Executive, as well as the United States Office of War Information.
Turn on your local newscast. You have a few minutes of blue-collar crime, hardly any white collar crime, a few minutes of sports, misc. chit chat, random political jibber-jabber, and a look at the weather that no one is forecasting correctly. Is that what happened in your town? And we're supposed to own the airwaves! The mainstream media openly supports the interests of the prison industrial complex. The stories focus on minority criminal groups, and exploit the real threats to appear much more dangerous than they are. Think about the growing per capita number of prisoners in the country. Then remember that this is happening at the same time that our prison boom began. The police on our streets have created criminals. The focus is to keep us in a state of fear, that way the elitists can attack any group they want to without fear of consequences. This is why the media is continuing to craft the timeless art of dehumanization.
The techniques are increasing in their sophistication over time as the mind scientists that serve the empire continue to discover scientific breakthroughs as to how the human brain functions, learns, retains information, and behaves. The most effective brainwashing techniques are used on the most successful propaganda networks. Examine the music bed that lies low during the fright night scope of the second. It's spooky. I wonder if we are supposed to be thinking with our minds or getting ready for stunt. Observe the graphics with the music. They're glitzy and flashing. Like the monkey that is attracted to shiny objects, it's our monkey hand that controls the remote that often stops the search for entertainment when the proper amount of glamor catches our attention. Most importantly, notice the repetition behind the lies that the politicians and their corporate media groupies tell us. You see, the unimaginable fallacies are created as 'truth' not because it's logical or provable, but because of the broken record technique. No matter how ridiculous the lie, it's repeated often enough that the brain doesn't know the difference between reality and nursery rhymes. This technique is underestimated in its ability to allow the puppeteers to hypnotize millions of people. Instead of "Fair and balanced" it's "We say it enough times, and you believe it."

Socialism or Death!
While the question of whether 300,000 people have died in Darfur in the last five years is being debated, 25,000 people a day (that's nine million a year) are dying the world over due to malnutrition.
"The world" has suddenly discovered the problem, which has, for sure, taken a significant turn for the worse. But there is one world leader, in my opinion the greatest political leader the world has ever known, who has been calling the world's attention to this problem, and to its cause, for nearly 30 years (and probably more).
Fidel Castro at the U.N., 1979:
Mr. President, distinguished representatives: Human rights are often spoken of, but we must also speak of humanity's rights. Why should some people walk around barefoot so that others may travel in expensive cars? Why should some live only 35 years so that others may live 70? Why should some be miserably poor so that others may be exaggeratedly rich? I speak on behalf of the children in the world who do not even have a piece of bread. [applause] I speak on behalf of the sick who lack medicine. I speak on behalf of those who have been denied the right to life and human dignity.
Some countries are on the sea; others are not. [applause] Some have energy resources; others do not. Some possess abundant land on which to produce food; others do not. Some are so glutted with machinery and factories that even the air cannot be breathed because of the poisoned atmosphere; [applause] while others have nothing more than their emaciated arms with which to earn their daily bread. What is their fate? To starve? To be eternally poor? Why then civilization? Why then the conscience of man? Why then the United Nations? [applause] Why then the world? One cannot speak of peace on behalf of 900 million illiterates.
The exploitation of the poor countries by the rich countries must cease. I know that in many poor countries there are both exploiters and exploited. I address myself to the rich nations, asking them to contribute. And I address myself to the poor countries, asking them to distribute. Enough of words. We need deeds. [applause]
Enough of abstractions. We need concrete action. Enough of speaking about a speculative new international economic order that nobody understands. [applause] We must speak of a real, objective order that everybody understands.
I have not come here as a prophet of revolution. I have not come here to ask or to wish that the world be violently convulsed. I have come to speak of peace and cooperation among the peoples. And I have come to warn that if we do not peacefully and wisely resolve the present injustices and inequalities, the futurewill be apocalyptic. [applause] The sounds of weapons, of threatening language, and of prepotent behavior on the international arena must cease. [applause]
Enough of the illusion that the problems of the world can be solved by nuclear weapons. Bombs may kill the hungry, the sick, and the ignorant, but they cannot kill hunger, disease, and ignorance. Nor can they kill the righteous rebellion of the peoples. And in the holocaust, the rich -- who have the most to lose in this world -- will also die.

According to the calculations of renowned economists, the world economy grew six-fold and the production of wealth and services grew from less than five trillion to more than twenty-nine trillion dollars between 1950 and 1997. Why then is it still the case that each year, 12 million children under five years of age die -- that is to say 33,000 per day -- of whom the overwhelming majority could be saved?
Nowhere in the world, in no act of genocide, in no war, are so many people killed per minute, per hour and per day as those who are killed by hunger and poverty on our planet -- 53 years after the creation of the United Nations.
The children who die and could be saved are almost 100% poor and of those who survive, we must ask why 500,000 are left blind every year for lack of a simple vitamin which costs less than a pack of cigarettes per year? Why are 200 million children under five years of age undernourished? Why are there 250 million children and adolescents working? Why do 110 million not attend primary school and 275 million fail to attend secondary school? Why do two million girls become prostitutes each year? Why in this world -- which already produces almost 30 trillion dollars worth of goods and services per year -- do one billion 300 million human beings live in absolute poverty, receiving less than a dollar a day -- when there are those who receive more than a million dollars a day? Why do 800 million lack the most basic health services? Why is it that of the 50 million people who die each year in the world, whether adults or children, 17 million -- that is approximately 50,000 per day -- die of infectious diseases which could almost all be cured -- or, even better, be prevented -- at a cost which is sometimes no more than one dollar per person?
How much is a human life worth? What is the cost to humanity of the unjust and intolerable order which prevails in the world? 585,000 women died during pregnancy or in childbirth in 1996, 99% of them in the Third World, 70,000 due to abortions carried out in poor conditions, 69,000 of them in Latin America, Africa and Asia? Apart from the huge differences in the quality of life between rich and poor countries, people in rich countries live an average of 12 years longer than people in poor countries. And even within some nations, the difference in life expectancy between the richest and poorest is between 20 and 35 years. It is really sad to think that just in the area of maternal and post-natal services, in spite of the efforts of the WHO and UNICEF over the last 50 years, the number of deaths from lack of medical services has been 600 million children and 25 million mothers who could have survived. That would have required a more rational and more just world.
In that same post-war period, in the area of military expenditure, 30 trillion dollars were spent. According to UN estimates, the cost of providing universal access to basic health care services would be 25 billion dollars per year -- just three percent of the 800 billion dollars which are currently devoted to military expenditure -- and this after the end of the Cold War.
As a concrete example of what Fidel was talking about, the World Food Program urgently needs an additional $755 million to meet its needs, or even more people are going to die, without question. I'm sure I don't need to point out that that amount is what the U.S. (not including Britain and other "allies") spends in Iraq in two days.
By the way, in that second speech, Fidel also talked about another problem which no other world leader was talking about at the time...climate change:
The climate is changing. The seas and the atmosphere are heating up. The air and water are becoming contaminated. Soil is eroding, deserts are growing, forests are disappearing and water is becoming scarce. Who can save our species? The blind, uncontrollable law of the market? Neo-liberal globalization, alone and for its own sake, like a cancer which devours human beings and destroys nature? That cannot be the way forward or at least it can only last for a brief period in history.
Fidel and other Cuban leaders have long ended speeches with the phrase, "Socialism or Death!" One might have thought, and perhaps it was the case, that the phrase was the opposite of "Better dead than red," that is, the "death" in the phrase applied to the speaker, or at most to his or her countrymen. But in 2008, it becomes clear that the phrase "Socialism or Death!" really applies to the planet as a whole, and needs to replace "Socialism or barbarism" as the watchword of progressive people everywhere.

Soaring food prices are a "massacre" of the world's poor and are creating a global nutritional crisis, Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez said on Tuesday, calling it a sign that capitalism is in decline.
"It is a true massacre what is happening in the world," Chavez said in a televised speech, citing U.N. statistics about deaths caused by hunger and malnourishment.

Socialism or Death!
